BABYMETAL announced an additional date as part of its World Tour 2018 in Japan trek kicking off in October. The kawaii metal band will be inviting special guests from outside Japan to perform in the group’s first festival-style event taking place at the Saitama Super Arena on Oct. 28.
The extra show, called “Dark Night Carnival,” will feature two distinctive acts besides BABYMETAL on its roster: Swedish “war metal band” Sabaton and the Star Wars metal band Galactic Empire made up of Dark Side members including Darth Vader on lead guitar.
Fans will be able to attend the extra show in costume. The added concert is part of BABYMETAL’s previously announced two-city, four-concert Japan tour, and the invited bands will also perform as special guests at the other shows: Galactic Empire will take part in the concerts in Chiba (Oct. 23-24) and Sabaton will play in Kobe (Oct. 30-31).
