Azealia Banks has never shied away from tweeting her opinion on racial issues, and the ongoing saga of Rachel Dolezal is no exception.
Keri Hilson Suggests People ‘Thank’ Rachel Dolezal, Twitter Disagrees
On Friday, the world was introduced to Dolezal: a Spokane, Washington, NAACP leader who had been misrepresenting herself as a black woman until she was outed by her own parents as white. There has been a lot of debate about the charade — Keri Hilson tweeted last week that people should thank Dolezal for her civil-rights leadership, while Cher wondered on Twitter, “Who Doesn’t Want 2 have Blk COOL?” Sigh.
But Banks can only laugh at the situation — and wonder if this will lead to white people claiming they’re “transracial”
