Dudes are always so sure women hit the club to meet guys like themselves, and yet every time some creeper comes to them on the floor, girls are like, “I just came here to dance.” It’s not a lie. Sometimes, the only thing that can make the world a brighter place is surrounding yourself with strangers and dancing with your eyes closed.
That might be what the dream girl from Axwell & Ingrosso‘s latest “Dancing Alone” video is up to when singer RØMANS finds himself completely transfixed. The single peaked at No. 27 on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart earlier this month, and now, it gets a fun, retro video treatment from 21-year-old director Brokenint, the same guy behind that awesome OWSLA Japan pop-up video in February. As the song merges vibes from classic trance and house records, the video blends footage from an old warehouse rave and fancy Ibiza mega-clubs in the 2000s.
It’s a dope video concept that helps bring out the best sides of the track.
