“Underground dance music — in the nicest way possible — it’s amateur,” Ingrosso is quoted as saying.
The dance-scene backlash was swift and searing, as legends like Derrick Carter and Sasha took to Twitter to criticize the reported comments.
On Saturday (April 4), Axwell responded with a tweet claiming that the duo’s “amateur” comments got lost in translation and were referring only to their own early releases, rather than a sweeping condemnation of an entire dance scene.
