Who needs Awkward Family Photos when you can pay hundreds of dollars to take your own with Avril Lavigne? For a string of performances in Brazil as part of her 30-date South American tour, Lavigne has been giving fans the option to purchase $400 (R$800) “Meet-and-Greet” tickets (not including the price of the concert) to take a photo with her, reports Gawker.
But there’s a caveat: fans aren’t allowed to touch Lavigne, and are required to stand at least arm’s length away from her. After being a fan stormed the stage during her 2011 tour of Brazil, it’s not surprising she decided to take precautionary measures this time. Watch a video of the attack and check out more photos over at Gawker.
Lavigne is set to tour North America with the Backstreet Boys this summer. Recently, she released the video for “Hello Kitty” off her self-titled fifth studio album.
