The sudden and shocking passing of Tim Bergling, a.k.a. Avicii, stunned the global music community when he died at the age of 28 on April 20, 2018.
Many of his colleagues, including Skrillex, Calvin Harris, Marshmello and more, shared their grief and fondest recollections of their time with Bergling immediately following the loss of the hitmaker and friend to many across pop and dance music across social media.
A year later, Avicii’s memory lives on, not only in his music — “SOS,” his posthumous single and collaboration with Aloe Blacc, was released on April 10 — but in the memories of those who performed alongside him and connected with the songs that define his prolific career.
Now, several of them have taken to social media to remember Avicii, including DJ Snake, Nile Rodgers and more.
