
The Avett Brothers swung by “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” last night (Jan. 19), performing their own folksy cover of Bob Dylan’s “One Too Many Mornings.” Watch the Avett Brothers’ take on Dylan’s 1964 classic below.
The track was recorded for “Chimes of Freedom,” a four-disc set of Dylan covers, with proceeds benefitting Amnesty International. The charity tribute album is due out Jan. 24.”Chimes of Freedom” includes Dylan covers by more than 80 artists, including Adele, Elvis Costello, Miley Cyrus, Lenny Kravitz, Ke$ha, Sting and Pete Townshend.
Avett Brothers Debut New Song ‘The Once and Future Carpenter’
The Avett Brothers have been working on their own new album, the follow-up to 2009’s “I and Love and You,” for more than a year. The band once again worked with producer Rick Rubin on the LP, which is set to drop sometime this spring.
