London-based producer Codeko has enlisted the help of rising pop star Austin Mahone for “Say Hi”, a youthful sing-a-long jam with all the bells and whistles. The University of Arizona was the first to experience the record as the two took over the campus with an ambitious eight performances in less than 24 hours.
Mahone, who is fresh off of his 20+ date North American tour, lends his warm vocals to the mood-lifting party anthem. The song’s beat builds in anticipation as Mahone admits “I love it when you call just to say hi.” He previously teamed up with Hardwell on “Creatures of the Night” which has collected over 20 million Spotify streams to date.
Codeko tells Billboard, “I have been working on ‘Say Hi’ for over a year and its my biggest record yet. It is unbelievable to see a record I wrote out of my dorm room at Cambridge come to life with Austin Mahone on Astralwerks.”
