Furthermore, “Mmm Yeah” will be featured in an Aquafina FlavorSplash commercial starring Mahone that will premiere during the GRAMMY Awards telecast on Sunday night (Jan. 22). Mahone will also perform the single live at Pepsi’s “#PEPCITY” Super Bowl XLVIII kick-off party in New York City on Jan. 29, and then again on “Good Morning America” on Jan. 31.
Mahone’s fans can pre-order “Mmm Yeah” now, and for a limited time upon release, the single will be available at $0.69 in the iTunes Store.
Last year, Mahone made his Hot 100 chart debut with the RedOne-produced single “What About Love,” which has sold 374,000 downloads to date, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Pitbull, meanwhile, currently has a smash hit as a lead performer: “Timber,” featuring Ke$ha, spent a second week atop the Hot 100 last week.
“I’m doing a lot of travel right now, so it’s kind of hard to find time to record songs,” Mahone told Billboard about his in-the-works debut album last month. “But anytime that I can, I like to, because I’m just trying to finish my album and get it done.”
