Audiam, a company that collects money from YouTube on behalf of independent music publishers and rights holders, has named Euvin Weeber general manager.
Over the past six months, Weeber has consulted for Audiam and played a key role in creating relationships with the company’s new clients, including Pretty Lights, House of Hassle Publishing, C3 Management, Nettwerk Management, Dean & Britta and Basia Bulat.
“I’m getting the proverbial band back together,” Audiam founder/CEO Jeff Price said in a statement.” Euvin was great when we worked together during his days at my label spinART. Now he has even more experience, relationships and knowledge under his belt. I’m lucky to be working with him again.”
Weeber added: “Joining the Audiam team is an exciting step. Reuniting with Jeff and working with the extraordinarily talented group he’s assembled is an incredible honor. I’m very aligned with Audiam’s core values of being a transparent, full disclosure company that strives to earn our client’s business with honesty, accountability and world-class service, no matter how large or small the client is.”
Weeber previously ran the full-service management company Mister E Management, and also enjoyed a stint at Beggars Group USA as national sales director and product manager. He was also GM of the World’s Fair Label Group, where he worked with such labels as Daptone Records, Rough Trade, Bella Union and Definitive Jux.
