AT&T and Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile) has inked a sponsorship pact with hot fashion brand rag & bone for the U.S. launch of Samsung’s new device, the Samsung Galaxy Note , which will be available exclusively at AT&T in-store Feb. 19 and for pre-order now.
Band Of Horses will perform at an exclusive Galaxy Note launch party on Feb. 14 in New York during fashion week, with rag & bone designers Neville and Wainwright as hosts. Noted music photographer and filmmaker Danny Clinch shot the commercial for the campaign, which can be seen at the Samsung Galaxy Note Facebook page as of this morning, Facebook.com/galaxynoteragandbone/. To mark the release of the Galaxy Note, rag & bone designers Marcus Wainwright and David Neville have designed a custom case for the Galaxy Note, available soon.
The Galaxy Note stands out in the competitive smart phone market by promoting its consolidation of the core benefits of a tablet with the portability of a smart phone. With a 5.3″ HD Super AMOLED™ screen (1280×800), the Galaxy Note is attracting attention with its integrated S Pen, a pressure-sensitive stylus which can be used to take notes or personalize images which can be sent via email or text and its touch-screen. It also features an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p video recording on the back and a 2-megapixel camera on the front.
In addition, AT&T and Samsung Mobile will serve as the title sponsor of the rag & bone Fall Winter 2012 Mens and Womens Collection shows on Feb. 10 during New York Fashion Week. The entire sponsorship was brokered by Mitch Grossbach, executive, Creative Artist Agency (representing rag & bone) and Marcie Allen, president of MAC Presents (representing AT&T/Samsung).
AT&T, Samsung and rag & bone have created a co-branded advertising campaign, which will launch later this month, to promote the Galaxy Note™ and the rag & bone partnership. The previously mentioned Facebook page will feature daily giveaways including rag & bone gift cards and merchandise, Samsung Galaxy Note devices, VIP passes to rag & bone’s Fashion Week show, and postings by the designers.
