AT&T has added Pandora’s personalized Internet radio service to its wireless network, available from select AT&T mobile phones.
The service works much like the online version of Pandora, allowing users to build a custom playlist around a single song. Users can also rate tracks played to further refine the stream.
Existing Pandora users also can access previously saved personalized stations via their mobile phone, and integrate both their online and mobile access from one universal account. Each account can store up to 100 stations.
The service is available for a free five-day trial, after which it will cost $9 a month for the mobile option. The online account remains free. It’s available on eight AT&T music-optimized phones.
