
The ASCAP EXPO, set for April 28 through 30, 2016 at the Loews Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles, announces the addition of Melissa Etheridge, Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley, “Cheerleader” songwriter OMI and songwriter Dan Wilson (Adele’s “Someone Like You”) to its “We Create Music” panel on opening day, which also features Matchbox Twenty frontman Rob Thomas and composer David Vanacore.

Also set for opening night: a performance by Suzanne Vega (“Luka,” “Tom’s Diner”). Closing night will feature the hit-making duo R. City (“Locked Away,” Miley Cyrus’ “We Can’t Stop”). Other highlights of the program include a conversation with Nate Ruess of fun. moderated by ASCAP President and renowned songwriter Paul Williams; The “Master Sessions” series, featuring Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, gospel hitmakers Warryn & Erica Campbell and songwriter-producer Greg Kurstin; and an interview with Salt-N-Pepa.
