The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers’ annual expo aims to help enrich, challenge and nurture music-industry hopefuls and vets, and on Thursday (Dec. 3), ASCAP added several names to their expo lineup.
The expo will not only be educational but fun. (get it?) with the addition of Nate Ruess and ASCAP president and Hall of Famer Paul Williams. Attendees will have the chance to see the two in conversation and undoubtedly learn valuable advice from the prolific pair.
In addition, Salt-N-Pepa will make an appearance to discuss their lives and careers. The discussion will be open and provide insight into three female artists who changed the game for women in the industry.
Greg Kurstin, co-songwriter and producer for Adele‘s “Hello,” and Ashley Gorley, three-time ASCAP Award-winning country songwriter of the year, will each host their own master session at the expo.
