ASCAP has set the dates for its 12th annual ASCAP “I Create Music” EXPO, a conference that gives aspiring creators — songwriters, composers, artists, producers — a chance to learn from the music industry’s top creatives. Next year’s EXPO will take place April 13-15 2017 at the Loews Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles, where last year attendees saw a keynote by Timbaland and appearances by Melissa Etheridge and Rob Thomas, among others.
Marking the occasion, ASCAP has revamped the EXPO website and logo, plus unveiled a new tagline for the event: “Where Creators Connect.” The first round of panelists for the 2017 event will be announced at a later date. Registration for this year’s EXPO opens on Sept. 13. Get details here and check out highlights from last year:
