Several artists are teaming up with mobile fan club provider Mozes to leave holiday messages for U.S. troops serving overseas. The new program, “Voices from America,” allows bands to leave voice messages to servicemen and women, which can be accessed either by calling a toll-free number or via an artist’s MySpace page.
Participating artists at this time include the Backstreet Boys, Five for Fighting, Hinder, Jordin Sparks, Mario, Switchfoot’s Jon Foreman and Teddy Geiger.
The program is an extension of a new integrated voice feature Mozes recently launched. The service lets artists post voicemail messages for their fans, and allows fans to leave messages of their own, all of which can be accessed via a special widget on artists’ MySpace pages.
