At the top of the year, we asked who would dominate 2019. Now that we’re more than halfway through the year, it’s time to look back and ask a slightly different question: with some hard evidence behind us and news about what’s ahead, which artist is dominating 2019 so far?
Recently, we saw Lady Gaga announce her new Haus Laboratories beauty brand, Camila Cabello drop two new collabs (“Find U Again” with Mark Ronson and “Señorita” with Shawn Mendes), Taylor Swift announce her new album Lover, and Beyoncé star in the live-action film The Lion King. Oh, yeah, and Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” has been leading the Billboard Hot 100 for 14 weeks.
