Ariana Grande can tick Australia (and New Zealand) off her touring bucket list.
The U.S. pop star on Friday confirmed she’ll swing Down Under later this year for a mini-trek, her first in these parts.
Produced by Live Nation’s Australasian company, Grande’s Dangerous Woman jaunt will kick off Sept. 2 at Auckland’s Spark Arena, then hit Australia’s east coast for concerts in the three biggest cities, Melbourne (Rod Laver Arena on Sept. 5), Sydney (ICC Theatre on Sept. 9) and Brisbane (Entertainment Centre on Sept. 12).
With these shows, Grande is fulfilling a pledge she made on Australia’s Sunrise TV show last September when she insisted, “I’m definitely coming too Australia. That is confirmed. I’m definitely, definitely coming.” The general ticket onsale starts April 28.
Grande is touring in support of her third and most recent LP Dangerous Woman, opened at No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart in May 2016. Her debut Yours Truly reached No. 6 in September 2013 and her sophomore set, My Everything, bowed at the summit the following year, around the time she made a promotional visit to these shores.
