Ariana Grande hasn’t been shy about collaborating with hip-hop artists during her young career: her breakout hit “The Way” featured Mac Miller, and the song’s remix added Fabolous to the mix. The Nickelodeon star told Billboard earlier this year that she’d love to work with Big Sean, and lo and behold, the G.O.O.D. star pops up on her latest “Yours Truly” offering, “Right There.”
“Right There,” which Grande released on Tuesday night (Aug. 6), gives the pop singer another fluttering, mid-tempo love song to add to her collection, and allows Big Sean to boast about his sexual prowess. “My black book of numbers thicker than the dictionary!” Sean raps before Grande returns for a typically emotional finale.
“Yours Truly,” Grande’s much-hyped debut album, is due out on Sept. 3 through Republic Records, and will include her Top 10 hit “The Way” and its follow-up “Baby I,” which debuted at No. 21 on last week’s Hot 100 chart. The 20-year-old singer unveiled “Right There” to coincide with “Yours Truly” becoming available for pre-order.
Next Tuesday, Grande will kick off the Listening Sessions tour, her first-ever string of headlining shows. Before that, she’ll support Justin Bieber on three dates of his Believe tour, beginning tonight in Jacksonville, Fla.
