Ariana Grande has swapped out one rapper for another as the guest star on her Top 10 hit “The Way,” with Fabolous brought in to contribute a verse to the remix. The New York rapper replaces Mac Miller, who was the original guest on the song.
The new verse keeps up the energy of the young star’s bubbly breakout track and seems like an adrenaline rush compared to Miller’s laidback contribution to the song. “This chick I’m with got me feelin’ some type of way /If men are dogs, then I guess I’ll be the type to stay,” Loso raps.
“The Way” has been heating up the charts since it was released back in March. It peaked at No. 9 on the Hot 100, and dips from No. 10-12 this week.
The 20-year-old Nickelodeon star is getting ready for the release of her debut album, due out in late August/early September. Grande posted on Twitter that the album’s title and pre-order date will revealed on Monday (July 15).
