Ariana Grande has, by her own admission, had a tough year. Music, as we know, is the best medicine. And Ari is apparently mending herself in the best possible way: she’s been recording new material.
The “No Tears Left To Cry” singer dropped another hint that she’s already working on the followup to Sweetener, a global hit which dropped less than two months ago.
In a tweet overnight, Grande shared a video from the studio with what sounds like new vocals playing in the background. “Tell me how good it feels to be needed,” the message reads.

Earlier this week, she posted a studio picture on her Instagram Story and tweeted, “music is the best medicine.” Spin notes she hinted album No. 5 in a since-deleted tweet, in which she wrote, “can’t wait for you guys to start being weird little ag5 detectives.” Music heals.
