BBC One announced on Friday (Aug. 31) that Ariana Grande will appear in a one-hour televised special. The special will be hosted by Davina McCall, who will be interviewing Grande before an intimate performance of Sweetener tracks, during which the popstar will be backed by an all-female orchestra.
The BBC One special will be Grande’s second appearance on the program. Her first televised appearance for BBC One was for the headlining of her One Love benefit concert, an star-studded event to benefit the victims of the May 22 Manchester Arena suicide bombing that took place at her show.
“Ariana Grande is such an incredible talent. She’s very funny and incredibly kind and has achieved so much already in her career. I’m really excited about talking to her and, of course, hearing some of her amazing music,” McCall said of Grande’s appearance on the program.
The special is set to record in London on Sept. 7, and will air later this year.
