Thanksgiving is just a few days away, but Ariana Grande fans don’t need a holiday to feel thankful for the songstress.
Grande and her supporters have always had a special bond, and the “7 rings” singer is constantly expressing her love for them via social media and at meet-and-greets. In fact, just last week, she bought 40 of her fans lunch after she canceled her show at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky.
The sweet gesture inspired us at Billboard to compile a list of other times Ari has done cute things for her fans. Though the number is countless, see six of them below.
1. “Wait, start again, I wasn’t recording!”
That’s what one of her fans shouted at a Sweetener listening session when the songstress began to sing “raindrops.” She actually stopped and laughed before asking if the fan was ready now. She then re-started the show, and the fan got a perfect video.

2. Love letter to the LGBTQ+ community
Back in 2018, Ari took part in Billboard‘s Gay Pride Month compilation of love letters to the LGBTQ community. The songstress, whose brother Frankie is gay, noted that “there is nothing more infectious than the joy and love that the LGBTQ community exudes.” Read her full letter here.
3. Surprising fans at The Tonight Show
Jimmy Fallon called in a number of Grande superfans to perform a cover of “One Last Time” to allegedly “show” Grande. Little did they know, the songstress was standing next to them as they sang. As expected, tears, hugs, and smiles ensued.
4. Another surprise at Today
The Tonight Show was no isolated incident for Grande, who four years prior, surprised fans having a sing-off at Today with VIP passes to her show.
5. A special gift for a hospitalized fan
In March, Brianna Zarbo couldn’t make Ariana Grande’s show in Buffalo due to an emergency surgery. While the songstress was unable to visit her fan in person, she sent Brianna flowers, tour hats, t-shirts and an autographed poster that reads, “I am sending you the biggest hug.”

6. Visiting injured fans after the Manchester bombing
In 2017, 22 people were killed in a terrorist bombing outside of the songstress’ concert in Manchester. Two days ahead of her benefit concert for victims of the attack, Grande made a surprise visit to injured fans at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. “Ariana brought everyone a sunflower and a teddy bear,” Lauren Thorpe, whose 8-year-old daughter Lily suffered a back wound, told CNN at the time. “It was unbelievable.”
