
At this year’s Association of Independent Music’s Independent Music Awards held Tuesday in London, Arctic Monkeys walked away with the Independent Album of the Year honor, while Domino Records earned the Independent Label of the Year award.

The AIM Independent Music Awards were hosted by Radio 1’s Alice Levine and XFM’s John Kennedy, and included live sets by Twin Atlantic and Oh Daughter. It was live tweeted here.
Other winners included Beggars Group Founder and Chairman Martin Mills, who took home the Pioneer Award; DJ and producer Richie Hawtin received the Outstanding Contribution to Music award; Steve Goodman, also known as Kode9, received the Innovator Award for his Hyperdub label; London Grammar won the PPL Award For Most Played New Independent Act and the Independent Breakthrough of the Year award; and Twin Atlantic won the Independent Track of the Year for the song “Heart and Soul.”
