AOL Music has named the latest group of artists for its Breakers artist development program.
Participating artists are Mariah Carey and Mary J. Blige collaborator Johnta Austin (Virgin), “Nashville Star” champ Chris Young, “American Idol” alum Mario Vasquez (J Records), Midwest rapper Jibbs (Geffen), 50 Cent protege Young Hot Rod (Interscope), and punk pop act Cute Is What We Aim For (Fueled By Ramen).
Throughout the fall, AOL will showcase the acts through www.aolmusic.com, as well as across the AOL Music and Radio Networks.
Previous Breakers include John Legend, Fall Out Boy, Sugarland, Panic! at the Disco, Teddy Geiger, Avril Lavigne, Josh Groban, 50 Cent, Michelle Branch, the Game, Jet and Keyshia Cole.
