
Andy Grammer had the honor of performing the national anthem ahead of Game 5 of the NBA Finals. And he didn’t fail to hit the high notes.
The Los Angeles-born, New York-bred singer/songwriter singer took center stage at Oakland’s Oracle Arena Monday night (June 13) before the Golden State Warriors took on the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Grammer shared a video before his performance in which he quipped he was “freaking out” before showing off his special socks – one featuring the Warriors’ star Stephen Curry, the other with Cavs leader LeBron James.
Turns out the James sock was the lucky one. The Cavs prevailed 112-97, narrowing the Warriors’ series lead to 3-2. Watch Grammer’s performance below.
