A statement displayed on the British street style brand’s website reads: “After much consideration and with the blessing of Amy’s family, we have decided to release the AW11 Amy Winehouse for Fred Perry Collection. Amy was passionate and dedicated to the collaboration and her signature style is clearly stamped across each piece.”
The singer’s father, Mitch Winehouse explained to Rolling Stone, “When Fred Perry came to us to ask what we would like to do with the new collection it was natural to continue. Amy loved working on both collections and would want them to be made available.”

The collection (pieces pictured above) is based around the classic black and white houndstooth pattern. It features a Winehouse-esque curve-hugging bodycon dress and collared shirts with the signature laurel wreath embroidery, characteristic of the Fred Perry brand. Simple accessories like clutches, a retro bowling bag, leather gloves and belts are also available.
The collection, which is currently available for purchase online, ranges in price from 60 pounds for the accessories to 195 pounds for the black bodycon dress. According to the statement released on Fred Perry’s website, the royalties and fees related to the clothing line will be donated to the forthcoming Amy Winehouse Foundation, which is rumored to help those struggling with substance abuse.
