Amy Schumer has signed with WME in all areas, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. WME partner Sharon Jackson will lead her team. The agency previously represented her only in touring; UTA handled the rest of her business.
Schumer’s sister and writing partner, Kim Caramele, and another frequent collaborator, actor/writer/producer Kevin Kane, also are joining her.
Schumer has two big-screen follow-ups to the UTA-packaged I Feel Pretty: Rebecca Miller’s dramedy She Came to Me, opposite Steve Carell and Nicole Kidman, and the Universal comedy Who Invited Her?, which she also is producing alongside Reese Witherspoon. And since the release of her stand-up special The Leather Special last year, Schumer has executive produced a series of specials for emerging comics on Comedy Central; the most recent, Amy Schumer Presents Sam Morril: Positive Influence, bowed Sept. 14.
Finally, Schumer this summer launched a Spotify original podcast, Amy Schumer Presents 3 Girls, 1 Keith, a free-ranging conversation among Schumer, Bridget Everett, Rachel Feinstein and the titular Keith Robinson on relationships, politics and more. That deal was negotiated by UTA.
Schumer first joined WME last December when the agency hired her touring agent, Mike Berkowitz, from APA. She continues to be repped by attorney Isaac Dunham.
