At least €2 million Euros have reportedly been seized on site at Amnesia Ibiza as part of an ongoing investigation by the Spanish Civil Guard.
According to reports by local publication Diario de Ibiza, agents found the money hidden throughout the building by using picks and other tools. Officers also confiscated a money counting machine.
Agents of the Civil Guard raided the property by helicopter at 7 a.m. Tuesday morning (July 5), agents of the Organized Crime and Drug Team and members of the Ibizan Tax Agency. Amnesia owner Martin Ferrer, his son, and two other employees were arrested on charges of money laundering and tax evasion.
Amnesia has yet to issue an official statement on the matter. Billboard will continue to update the story as it unfolds.
