Arianna Grande and a duet featuring Christina Aguilera and A Great Big World have been added to the lineup for the American Music Awards on Sunday.
Grande will perform a two-song medley and Aguilera will join AGBW on “Say Something.”
Producer Larry Klein announced that Katy Perry will open the show and Miley Cyrus will close it out. One of the night’s acts — he did not say which one — will be accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra.
“The show goes from intimacy to gigantic production numbers,” Klein said at an early morning press conference outside the Nokia Theatre where the event will be held Sunday on ABC.
Aguilera, AGBW and Grande join a lineup that also includes Jennifer Lopez, TLC, Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, One Direction, Florida Georgia Line, Cyrus, Perry, Imagine Dragons and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, among others. Pitbull will host the ceremony and perform his new single “Timber” with Ke$ha.
