Super Bowl season is fast approaching, and apart from the actual game, we’ve got much more to be excited about.
America’s most-watched event brings tons more than just 60 minutes of high stakes football: watch parties, highly anticipated 30-second commercials and the reactions they garner on social media, gigantic, star-studded halftime shows, and heavily scrutinized performances of both the pregame national anthem, and “America the Beautiful.”
With the halftime performance for Super Bowl LII already locked in — we’ll see Justin Timberlake return to headline the U.S. Bank Stadium stage in Minneapolis, Minnesota — and P!nk recently announced as the performer of this year’s national anthem, that leaves us with just one question: who will sing “America the Beautiful”?
We’ve seen wonderful acts like John Legend the Schuyler Sisters serenade the nation with angelic renditions of the patriotic anthem in the past, but who will take the mic this year? Will we see the red-hot Camila Cabello? The Grammy-nominated SZA? Maybe the breakout young R&B crooner Khalid?
Vote below for who you think should sing “America the Beautiful” at Super Bowl LII!
