A Paco Rabanne Black XS cologne sponsorship will launch next month’s re-release of the hit debut album by Mexican pop-punk band Allison.
Beginning in September, Allison videos airing on MTV Latin America will be followed by 10- to 15-second spots for Black XS. The foursome will also appear on a Black XS microsite with interviews and photos of the band.
The campaign is timed with Sony BMG Mexico’s Sept. 11 re-issue of Allison’s self-titled album, the first edition of which went platinum in Mexico. The re-release will feature six bonus tracks, including a cover of Juan Gabriel’s classic “Amor Eterno,” to be worked as a single.
The CD will be accompanied by a bonus DVD and a special 10-digit code with which fans can access another site, allisonrifa.com. That site — which wasn’t live at press time — will contain exclusive videos, acoustic tracks, footage and interviews from this year’s Warped Tour, on which Allison was scheduled to played four dates.
