Back in March, Alex Rodriguez had the world letting out a collective “finally” when he popped the question to Jennifer Lopez. Now, the couple is in the midst of wedding planning, and the former MLB star dished it all to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show.
“You just let Jennifer plan everything and you just say ‘Alright,'” he admitted on the process. When revealing that they don’t have a venue yet, Fallon gave the perfect idea: the Super Bowl, where Lopez will be performing alongside Shakira in 2020 to “like 100 million people watching.”
“100 million people, we’re trying to think a bit smaller,” Rodriguez replied. “Maybe 100 people?”
“I can probably save some money,” he joked. “NFL, Fox, they’ll all pay for it.”
Fallon then unearthed a video from 1998 in which the baseball player said that JLo would be his dream date. “Dreams actually do come true in America,” he reacted to the sweet clip.
