
Alanis Morissette has been having fun injecting new life into Jagged Little Pill, her breakthrough, chart-topping album which is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
The Canadian singer teamed up with Jimmy Fallon and Meghan Trainor recently for an all-clucking version of her classic track “Ironic.” She’s tackled the same song again, giving it’s a modern twist for her appearance overnight on The Late Late Show.

Morrissette got some help from the show’s host James Corden (in matching sweater, red beanie and pony tails) for an “Ironic” tailored for 2015, with nods to Uber, Tinder, Amazon and Netflix.
Here’s a sample: “It’s like you’re first class on a Southwest plan, then you realize every seat is the same.” The pair land a killer blow with a line that addresses the song’s stubbornly inaccurate lyrics: “it’s singing ironic, but there are no ironies.”
