Chrissy Teigen’s nightmare flight to Tokyo had somewhat of a happy ending.
The more than 200 passengers of All Nippon Airways Flight 175 were reportedly given 30,000 Yen in compensation for the inconvenience caused by the plane heading back to LAX four hours into the flight, according to TMZ. However, the conversion to U.S. dollars is only about $265.
Chrissy Teigen live-tweeted the U-turn journey after the airline’s crew discovered that an unauthorized passenger boarded the flight.
All Nippon Airways tweeted out an apology to those affected, welcoming “ongoing feedback to understand how we can work to make this right.”
We apologize to all of our passengers on Flight 175; we failed to deliver the customer service we strive for. Thank you all for your comments and allowing us to connect, learn and serve you better. We welcome ongoing feedback to understand how we can work to make this right.
