As expected, Christina Aguilera will spend more than two months on the road in North America next spring, beginning Feb. 20 in Houston, Texas. The arena trek will sport opening acts the Pussycat Dolls and Danity Kane and will wrap May 5 in Sunrise, Fla. Tickets for some shows begin going on sale Saturday (Oct. 14).
On board to steer the look and feel of the show are choreographer Jamie King and costume designer Roberto Cavalli. Aguilera is touring in support of her recent double-disc RCA set “Back to Basics,” which has sold 790,000 copies in the United States since its August release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
The artist will tune up for the North American tour with a month’s worth of shows in Europe, beginning Nov. 17 in Sheffield, England.
