Aerosmith will perform in India next month for the first time.
The veteran band will play a concert in India’s southern city of Bangalore on June 2, as part of its Greatest Hits 2007 World Tour.
The event will take place at the Palace Grounds, which has a capacity of more than 10,000.
The India concert is promoted by Bangalore-based DNA Networks, which in the past handled acts such as Shakira, Roger Waters, Def Leppard and Elton John.
The Aerosmith tour is sponsored by liquor brand Royal Challenge (owned by United Distillers Ltd). Tickets are priced at Rupees 1,200 ($30) and Rupees 1,800 ($45), explains DNA Networks managing director Venkat Vardhan.
Following the India date, the band will also make a first visit to the United Arab Emirates.
