Los Angeles-based AEG Live has appointed industry vet Mike Krebs to VP of booking for the company and its regional promotion division Goldenvoice. He will be based in Los Angeles and report to Larry Vallon, senior VP of national booking at AEG Live.
In his new role, Krebs will oversee booking duties at downtown Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre, slated to open in October. The 7,100-seat venue is part of the $2.5 billion L.A. Live sports and entertainment project, which will sit adjacent to the Staples Center and Los Angeles Convention Center. In addition to his responsibilities at Nokia Theatre, Krebs will assist in booking other AEG Live venues throughout Southern California.
With nearly 20 years of experience in booking talent, Krebs most recently served as VP at Nederlander Concerts. He has also enjoyed stints as a senior talent buyer at House of Blues Concerts for Los Angeles and Las Vegas, as an agent at International Creative Management, and as a talent buyer for Delsener/Slater Enterprises.
