Canadian duo Adventure Club has teamed up with Wavo.me to launch a remix contest for new single “Fade,” offering fans an opportunity to win a trip to the Virgin Mobile Presents Squamish Valley Music Festival in British Columbia.
Interested fans can download the stems for “Fade” at wavo.me/squamish/adventure-club-fade-remix-competition.
All finished remixes should be uploaded to Wavo’s site, where they will be available for public listening and voting between June 16 and July 17. The winner will subsequently be announced on July 20.
In addition to a premiere on Billboard Dance, the winning remixer will receive two VIP wristbands to the Virgin Mobile Presents Squamish Valley Music Festival, camping, a meet and greet with Adventure Club, and a $500 travel stipend.

“The Festival is a strong advocate for fostering musical talent and creative community without barriers,” says Erik Hoffman, Live Nation Canada senior vice president of talent. “This is an opportunity to have a bit of fun and get noticed by Adventure Club, as well as by hundreds of thousands of music lovers. It is always interesting to see how people interpret the same song in entirely different ways.”
Founded in 2012, Wavo.me aims to create a community for music fans and creatives to connect, as well as give artists digital tools for breaking music. Wavo has signed over 400 artists to labels and booked 1000 shows for aspiring artists in the past year.
