Trace Adkins has announced his plans for the 2006 Honky Tonk Badonkadonk tour, which kicks off early in the New Year. Tapping Craig Morgan and Josh Gracin as trading openers, the tour will begin at Jan. 19 in Burlington, Iowa.
Eleven dates were confirmed at deadline, with additional shows expected. Pre-sale opportunities for many of the shows begin later this week.
Adkins will be tour in support of “Songs About Me,” which debuted at No. 1 in the Billboard Country Albums chart and No. 11 on the Billboard 200.
Adkins made appearances last month at the Grand Ole Opry 80th Anniversary Performance and the Broadway Meets Country benefit in conjunction with the Country Music Awards in New York.
