Pop fans have watched the Web become flooded with high-profile single releases over the past two weeks, as the fourth-quarter onslaught of highly anticipated albums gets underway. Three new songs — the latest offerings from Adele, Bruno Mars and Kelly Clarkson — have particularly caught our attention; but which song will be dominating playlists well into 2013?
Vote now in the poll below to tell us which pop star — Adele, Bruno or Kelly — has released the all-star radio track of October.
Bruno Mars returned in stylish fashion with “Locked Out Of Heaven,” the first taste of sophomore album “Unorthodox Jukebox” that embraces a throwback vibe (is that a little bit of “Roxanne” we hear, Bruno?) Meanwhile, Adele linked up with a 77-piece orchestra for the sweeping theme song to the forthcoming James Bond film “Skyfall,” which has already crashed the Top 10 of the Hot 100 chart. And Kelly Clarkson is back with a new single, to be included on her “Greatest Hits – Chapter 1” album, that allows the former “Idol” champ to look back on a decade of success and, as the title suggests, “Catch My Breath.”
