Organizers of the three-day Amsterdam Dance Event, which concluded Saturday (Oct. 21), have reported a banner confab.
The 11th annual event has “again broken a record” for attendance, attracting 1,693 delegates, up from about 1,450 last year, organizers Buma Cultuur said today.
“As the biggest platform for professionals from the electronic music industry, the ADE showed an optimistic industry where the artist is more and more involved with his or her own career in music,” said Buma Cultuur in a statement.
The conference’s night program this year gathered an estimated audience of 57,000, across 41 clubs and venues. In total, 566 performers — including superstars DJs Paul van Dyk, Tiësto, Todd Terry and Nick Warren — played across 41 ADE-partner clubs and venues.
