The spin cycle’s over: After loading up a laundromat with a bunch of band t-shirts and pulling a few of them out of washing machines to tease a few acts, the 2018 Austin City Music Festival lineup is here and boasts Paul McCartney, Metallica, Childish Gambino, Arctic Monkeys, Odesza, Travis Scott and the National as its headliners.
The festival — which descends upon Austin’s Zilker Park over the weekends of Oct. 5-7 and Oct. 12-14 — will serve as McCartney and Metallica’s sole North American festival dates for 2018.
Camila Cabello, Shawn Mendes, Hozier, Khalid, David Byrne, Chvrches and more round out the rest of the roster, which counts 125 bands in its 2018 ranks.
