Fresh off their opening performance at the 2015 Grammys, AC/DC has announced formal plans for a return to North American venues.
The 2015 Rock Or Bust Tour (named after their 2014 album) begins Aug. 22 in Foxboro, Mass.’ Gillette Stadium and continues through Sept. 28 in Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium. Angus Young and company are also headlining Coachella on April 10 and 17.
AC/DC’s previously announced Rock Or Bust European dates begin May 5 in the Netherlands and run through late July.
The dates will include drummer Chris Slade, who performed with AC/DC Sunday night (Feb. 8) at the Grammys. Slade replaced old drummer Phil Rudd, who became estranged from the group when he was charged with threatening to kill a man in his employ in late 2014. Slade previously drummed with AC/DC from 1989 to 1994.
AC/DC last toured the world 2008 through 2010 on the Black Ice World Tour.
