Brotherly love can sometimes be tough, but Nick and Aaron Carter seem to have put the past behind them.
After feuding on social media over the summer, Nick reached out via Twitter on Thursday (Dec. 7) to his younger brother and his twin sister Angel to wish them a happy birthday.
Aaron appreciated the support, tweeting back, “You’re an awesome person bro! I’m always in your corner.”

The siblings had a bit of a falling-out this past July, when Aaron was arrested on DUI and marijuana charges. The former Backstreet Boy tweeted in response, “To my brother: I love u no matter what & if u feel the need to reach for help, I am here and willing to help you get better. Family isn’t always easy, [but] we’re all here for you.”
Aaron was not thrilled, writing, “If my own blood truly cared about my well-being, why wouldn’t he call me directly and have a conversation instead of making this about him through a very public forum?”
However, the former pop star is doing much better now following his decision to re-enter rehab in October, and even teased new music while documenting his healthy weight progress on Twitter.
On Friday, the singer is releasing “Don’t Say Goodbye,” the lead single from his upcoming album LøVë. Carter said in a press release that “if there is one lesson I’ve learned this year, it is to not dwell on the past, but to live for the future and I am so excited for what the new year will bring my musical career and my life.”
