On May 7, reunited boy band 98 Degrees will release “2.0,” its long-awaited new album and first studio full-length since 2000. Before next week’s release, check out “Girls Night Out,” a new track from the album premiering exclusively on Billboard.com:
After scoring hits like “The Hardest Thing,” “Because of You” and “Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche),” 98 Degrees has returned with a slickly produced mid-tempo jam that celebrates beautiful women in all their shapes and sizes. Nick Lachey, Drew Lachey, Jeff Timmons and Justin Jeffre still rely on soothing harmonies and sensual hooks to get their point across, and while “Girls Night Out” focuses on romantic curiosities, the song demonstrates how comfortable the 98 Degrees guys still sound next to each other.

“This is a long time coming,” Nick Lachey said in a press statement when “2.0,” which will be released through eOne Music, was announced earlier this year. “We are really excited to bring our fans new music and get out on the road.”
Speaking of which, 98 Degrees will perform their past hits and “2.0” material on the Package Tour, which also features Boyz II Men and New Kids On The Block. The arena trek kicks off on May 28 in Uncasville, Conn., and runs through early August.
