Slipknot has been around for 25 years, and has garnered a wide range of fans. Their latest supporter comes in the form of 8-year-old Taylor Campbell, who absolutely nailed a cover of the rock group’s “The Devil In I.”
The video was made in conjunction with the O’Keefe Music Foundation, which gives kids the opportunity to record music for free. The clip takes place in a nice suburban neighborhood, where a group of polite kids rebel against their parents. They graffiti the neighborhood and trash their toys, weaved with scenes of the group rocking out to the Slipknot hit in their garage.
Vocalist Campbell is dressed in an adorable pink shirt with “love” written near the collar, which juxtapose against the lyrics she muses: “Undo these chains, my friend/I’ll show you the rage I’ve hidden.”
Slipknot’s upcoming album, We Are Not Your Kind, is out Aug. 9. Watch the cover of “The Devil In I” below.
