Rapper 50 Cent will follow his North American Roc the Mic tour with a 15-date European trek. The arena dates begin Sept. 14 in Oberhausen, Germany, and wrap Oct. 8 in Manchester, England. This will be 50 Cent’s maiden European headlining tour, following a handful of prior U.K. appearances with Eminem on the latter’s Anger Management tour.
50 Cent is touring in support of his Shady/Interscope album “Get Rich or Die Tryin’,” which is No. 7 in its 26th week on The Billboard 200 and has been certified five-times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America for U.S. shipments of 5 million copies.
The rapper appears on Bad Boy’s new “Bad Boys II” soundtrack, which is No. 1 this week on The Billboard 200. He also guests on the track “Let Me Be the 1” on Mary J. Blige’s upcoming album, “Love & Life,” due Aug. 26 from Geffen.
