“Omens,” the brand new album from Colorado party starters 3OH!3, comes out today (June 18) via Atlantic, and members Sean Foreman and Nat Motte sat down with Billboard to discuss each of its songs.
For the dance/rap duo that first hit with 2008’s “Don’t Trust Me,” the new LP marked a return to form. “(It) was the first time we stepped off the road for awhile and got back to what was important to us, which was the basics,” says Foreman, who sings lead. “We eliminated some cooks from the kitchen and I think it freed us to make some decisions we maybe wouldn’t make with more people.”
“All of our records have always been about us producing and writing our own material,” adds Motte, who handles production duties.

3OH!3 are currently promoting their fourth studio album as co-headliners on the Vans Warped Tour, with North American dates through July 14.
