Why He’s Hot: The Atlanta-raised Lex Luger has been one of the hottest producers in hip-hop over the past year, with the success of Rick Ross’ “B.M.F. (Blowin’ Money Fast)” preceding the pummeling Waka Flocka Flame singles “Hard in da Paint” and “Grove St. Party.” Luger went on to work with Kanye West and Jay-Z (who’s more than twice his age!) on “H.A.M.,” the first track released from their chart-topping “Watch The Throne” album. Meanwhile, his production work for artists like Ace Hood, Snoop Dogg and Fabolous have confirmed that Luger’s distinctly sinister sound is still in high demand.
